About me

I work with individuals who may feel overlooked or turned away elsewhere. I will meet you where you are, no matter how complex or deeply challenging your circumstances may be.

My strength lies in seeing what others might miss: by looking beneath the surface, I seek to reveal the patterns and stories that shape our lives, guiding clients toward breakthroughs that many believe are out of reach.

I hold a degree-level qualification in Psychotherapy, supported by both professional training and lived experience. This foundation allows me to meet clients with insight, empathy, and a focus on meaningful progress. At the heart of my practice is awareness, connection, and the therapeutic relationship.

We make sense of our lives through stories, about who we are and how we came to be. I offer a space to explore these narratives together, and my role is to do so with care and curiosity. By offering a calm, supportive presence, and challenge when needed, I help clients gain insight and move toward what matters most.

My strength lies in seeing what others might miss: by looking beneath the surface, I seek to reveal the patterns and stories that shape our lives, guiding clients toward breakthroughs that many believe are out of reach.

I have a degree-level qualification in Psychotherapy, with a foundation in Transactional Analysis theory and Psychoanalysis. This, along with my own encounters with adversity, has equipped me with the knowledge and resilience to unlock meaningful change for my clients. I bring personal insight and a relational understanding to all of my work.

We are all storytellers; it is my job to explore our narrative. This reality grounds my purposeful approach to therapy. By offering a steady and attuned presence, I can challenge and stretch my clients in equal measure, unlocking valuable insights and engaging with the changes they need most.

My calling to work with people in this way is complemented by years of experience working in the corporate world. During that time, I personally assisted CEOs and Director-level individuals, and nurtured corporate teams, HR and wider company cultures. All this has prepared me to support clients across personal and professional contexts.

During my training, a series of rich and varied placements deepened my understanding of how people navigate distress and change. Working with young people alongside teachers, school leaders, and pastoral teams, exposed me to a wide range of presentations and the nuanced relational dynamics within educational settings. My experience in a low-cost counselling service, committed to removing financial barriers to therapy, was profoundly humbling and expanded my clinical perspective. These environments strengthened my adaptability and capacity to attune to individuals across ages and roles, shaping the warm, thoughtful, and responsive therapeutic presence I offer today. It is this combination of depth, attunement, and grounded professionalism that I bring to those seeking meaningful and effective support.

Alongside psychotherapeutic counselling for individuals and couples, I also provide therapeutic coaching for leaders: this unique process helps leaders strengthen relationships and enhance emotional intelligence and resilience.

My early experiences have shaped the way I understand people, and they drive my commitment to helping others feel safer, more seen, and more connected to themselves and the people around them. I believe humans are biologically wired to need each other, not in a way that threatens independence, but in a way that supports healing, reduces shame, and creates a sense of belonging. For me, connection, both with ourselves and with others, is at the heart of healing, and forms the core of how I work. Whether you are seeking therapy or coaching, my aim is to help you develop a deeper awareness of yourself, your impact on others, and how others have shaped you, so you can build healthier relationships, greater fulfilment, and a clearer sense of purpose.

My calling to work with people is complemented by years of experience in the corporate world, where I supported CEOs, directors, teams, and HR in navigating leadership, culture, and wellbeing. During my training, a range of placements deepened my understanding of how people cope with distress and change, including work with young people in educational settings and a low-cost counselling service committed to removing financial barriers. These experiences strengthened my ability to attune to individuals across ages and roles, moulding the warm, thoughtful, and grounded presence I bring in my approach, with a strong focus on relational healing, self-discovery, and building a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Fundamentally, I believe therapy is not about fixing anyone: you are not broken. Therapy is about unlocking the closed doors, making conscious change, and choosing the life you want to lead. I recognise the privilege it is to accompany individuals on this journey.

At Conscious Change, I walk alongside clients with clarity and potency, creating a space where transformation is not only possible, but lasting.
